Dr. Morrison received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Tulane
University and completed her predoctoral internship at Johns Hopkins School
of Medicine, The Kennedy Krieger Institute, before joining the Anxiety
Disorders Center in 2008. Her research interests include the role that
cognitive processes play in the development, maintenance, and treatment of
depression and anxiety disorders, as well as examining the efficacy of
cognitive-behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders. Dr. Morrison’s
clinical interests include school refusal, posttraumatic stress disorder,
obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobias, and panic disorder.
Furthermore, she specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents
with anxiety disorders. Currently Dr. Morrison is serving as a project
administrator and therapist for the NIMH treatment study, “Exposure,
D-Cycloserine Enhancement, and genetic Modulators in Panic Disorder,” as
well as a study therapist for the NIMH funded study “Stepped-Care for OCD.”
